Issued in 1937 to commemorate the coronation of King George VI.
Each stamp contains a vignette of the king, and a subject from the 1932 resources issue, with the exceptions of the 1c with a redrawn cod and the 3c with a map of Newfoundland.
All values have descriptions incorporated within the designs.

For the 20 cent, the upper stamp has a ghostly second chimney to the left of the lighthouse. This variety is often called the "extra smokestack".
